This project was a project we started in the beginning of the year. It moral was for everyone to see who we are and what we came from. We first started this project by writing a poem. We went through several drafts. Starting with our barred thoughts than finishing with deep creative poetry. The way we got there was by using critique. We use something classed "KSH." Which stands for Kind, Specific, and Helpful. We got into group of four. And KSHed everyone's poem. Once we finished our poems we performed them out loud to our class. After we performed our poems we had to write narratives. Our narratives had to have significance, relevance, connection, perspective and evidence. Once we finished writing our stories we had to turn them into art.
The way we did this was by using five by five cardboard boxes. Every side of the box had to represent an important point in you story. For example, my story had a lot to do with my family so I put a photo of us on the front. After we decorated them we places them outside of our class for everyone to view. What I Learned:
One thing I learned after doing this project is to be proud of who you are and who you came from. Even if you came from a hard place embrace yourself. Everyone has a story and they might connect to yours.
